is a bit crazy

or that's how it made me feel. I like the beat, maybe would prefer it to be a bit stronger, cool melody at the end. All in all good :) make more..

Cheers

JrSpesh responds:

I will make more. And I will take your advice and make my beats stronger, i'll add reverb perhaps...

yeah

cool man. Add vocals, it's fun and I'm experimenting with the same on my stuff. It's way harder than it seems though.. well at least for me.

This song is great, it is a bit repetitive yeah but imo that really adds to the song. It kinda needs it to give you that relaxing feeling, to get into a chill, mellow state of mind. Thanks for this one, I'm downloading ;)

Stavier responds:

Thanx you very much. I know watcha mean by experimentin', I've been doin' that lately. Hopefully I can make vocals soon!!!

Very pleasant

Really nice thing you got here.. calm soothing and very good sound. I actually listened to this because I saw the title and remember my old band used to play a song with the same title.. yearsss ago and I think I'll upload it just for fun.. thanks for bringing back memories and make more, this is really nice

ChronoNomad responds:

I'm always happy to induce a little pleasant reverie in my listeners. Thank you very much for an excellent review! I wonder just how many songs over the years have been named "Dreamscape" anyway...?

I've never heard of it

but it's cool, I like it :) What software did you use? Sounds very professional. I like the beats, kind of d'n'b like. Kool kool mate keep it up and thanks for all the reviews!

MoNkEyBoY1993 responds:

It's all FL Studio. The guitars came from the FL Slayer plugin the program came with. The drums are from the program's FPC plugin, with some EQ-added effects.

But yea, it's all FL Studio. Thanks a bunch, dude, much appreciated ^_^
And yes, this song has very fun beats, with alternating cymbals and hi-hats.

something different

from what you usually hear on NG. It has some great ideas though and I like that. I really enjoy the beginning.

5/5 10/10

grooveT3K responds:

Thanks mate, I did try to make something different and I think it succeded at being that, I make a lot of dance/electro style stuff and wanted to my new track to sound a bit different, it sort has a rock style structure and almost all the sounds used are from different guitar plugins.
Thanks again :D

Very pleasant to the ears

I like your stuff, it flows on and on and doesn't get boring. Great for flash games imo. I'm trying to work on a song that just flows like this myself atm. But damn why do these things always take so long to make, huh? ;)

aDropInTheOcean responds:

Thanks for the compliment. I know I don't really change key or chords much in my tracks but this is something I would like to learn how to do better. Glad you liked it.

Nice

I like that idea that starts around 1:06 the bass part. As the other guy mentioned, waves are cool, I have to experiment with adding these kinds of sounds too. Tried once with a horse :)

Around 2:15 reminds me of a game called Lotus. I used to play it as a kid, it was this racing game, came on a floppy disc back then haha.. I think there was a similar melody there, this really brought back memories.

Cool song mate.

aDropInTheOcean responds:

A track with a horse... you'll have to post me a link to that. That synth that reminds you of the old Lotus game is a default patch in Reason, when I heard it I had to fit it in somewhere, it does have a nostalgic feel to it, reminded me of Streets of Rage for some reason.

Hey

this is very pleasant.. I don't mind the change there at all, it fits nicely to the song. I'm surprised this hasn't been used in a flash yet.

Well good work, make more :)

aDropInTheOcean responds:

Thanks, I will make more and the positive responses definitely help that to happen.

Nice

are you gonna add some rap vocals to this? I like those high pitch sounds and the fx.

Keep it up.

BlowinMoneyENT responds:

thats the plan. lol glad you like.

This is a great background

I've had it on for a quite a while now and can't seem to get enough of it :). That effect at 00:40 sounds really cool, what's it called?

Good good good, make more. I can easily imagine this in an rpg.

Naerbu responds:

It's the Arkansas preset on absynth with a reverse explosion. Heavy reverb and some delay as well.

Thanks for the review! :D

Lean back and enjoy the melodies...
